As you may be aware, Terra-Gen Rolling Hills is seeking approval for a 70-windmill, 250 Megawatt project from New York State, and to date, they have signed up landowners totaling 17,169 acres encircling the Monastery property.

Coincidentally, we have learned that Terra Gen Rolling Hills will be hosting a "Landowner Dinner" for the project for those who have signed leases at Knotting Hill Farm, 259 Main Street, Jordanville, on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, from 530 pm to 8 pm, the same time as the screening for the movie "Where are you, Adam?".

To show our opposition to this windmill/solar project, we are planning to hold a peaceful demonstration on public land directly in front of the dinner venue, so that all who attend will see the supporters of the Monastery's position as they enter Knotting Hill Farm. If you still have your No Big Wind Placards, bring them; we will have a limited number available as well.

Bishop Luke blesses any monastic, seminarian, faculty member, or parishioner to attend this peaceful demonstration to show support for the largest and oldest Monastery for ROCOR in the world. We will arrange a second screening for those who desire to participate in the peaceful demonstration.

There will also be a moleben to St. Michael the Archangel served immediately after lunch on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, requesting his help in thwarting these threats to the monastic community and its peaceful existence.
