The actual feast day of the monastery is Holy Spirit Day. Once again, Vladyka Luke presided at the liturgy, but this time he was accompanied by Bishop Michael of Boston, whose consecration to the episcopate was celebrated only a few months ago. The church was filled with pilgrims despite it being a work day. During the liturgy, after the Great Entrance, former seminarian Deacon Timothy Zelinksy was ordained to the priesthood. Fr. Timothy will be eventually serving in our parish in Albany, NY.
At the end of the liturgy, a moleben to the Holy Trinity was served with a procession going around the church, stopping in the four corners with petitions and a Gospel reading.
Once again, the trapeza was offered by the monastery, and also a reception was held outside with beautiful weather accompanying the festivities.
