The abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery and rector of Holy Trinity Seminary, His Grace Bishop Luke celebrated his Name’s Day on Tuesday, October 31, the day of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Luke.
Vladyka presided at an early morning Divine Liturgy, concelebrated by the monastic clergy. Many people and pilgrims were in attendance to prayerfully support their spiritual father.
A special lunch was served on the day, at the end of which, Archimandrite Theophylact gave a short word of congratulations in name of the brotherhood and seminary. This was immediately followed by a dessert reception for all the brotherhood, seminary and neighbors as well as pilgrims. Vladyka was presented with gifts from the seminarians, including a new censor as well as gifts from neighbors and pilgrims.
