On November 21, according to the Church calendar (December 4 new style), the Church celebrates one of the twelve great feasts of the Church, the Entrance or Entry of the Most Holy Mother of God Into the Temple. What is particularly joyful about this feast is that for the first time we sing hymns connected with the feast of the Nativity of our Lord, the irmosii of the canon of the feast of the Birth of Christ, “Christ is born, glorify Him…” In this way, the Church begins to prepare us for one of the greatest feasts of the Church year.
On the occasion, His Grace Bishop Luke served the polyleos and presided at the Divine Liturgy on the feast itself, accompanied by clergy of the monastery and seminary.
